Theory and techniques of advanced shielded metal arc welding (out-of-Position). Theory and techniques of gas tungsten arc welding of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys and material identification. Theory and techniques of gas metal arc welding and flux cored arc welding processes and applications. Continued emphasis on development of procedures and qualifications of the above processes. Equipment and consumable requirements for specific welding processes and applications. Prerequisites WELD 111, WELD 113
