A cross-disciplinary course covering the application of the natural sciences to the analysis of physical evidence used in the investigation of crime. Incorporates lecture and laboratory sessions for the study and analysis of crime evidence, such as the recognition, identification and evaluation of fibers, hairs, chemicals, blood, narcotics, glass, soil, fingerprints, firearms, DNA. May be used as a general education natural science laboratory course. Prerequisites Sophomore Status
