An introductory course that examines the dependence of living systems on interactions of biological compounds such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids at the molecular level. Credit will not be given for both CHEM 324 and CHEM 364. This course meets General Education requirements: Scientific Understanding.

CHEM 214 or CHEM 322
