Statics & Structures

Statics and strength of materials as they relate to the design and construction of structural components, including stress-strain, tension and compression, elasticity, shear, bending and deflection of beams, centroids, moments of inertia, thermal expansion, truss analysis, beam and column design, open-web joists, base plates and connections.

Requires:

MATH 116 with grade of C-/better or 24 ACT or 560 SAT; and PHYS 211
