Field organization procedures, project management practices and safety techniques used by construction supervisors to manage people, resources and safety at the construction site. Daily preplanning, project administration, technical writing, solving people problems and communication. The supervisor's responsibility to recognize and abate hazards and to provide job instructional training to correct all safety hazards. The student will earn the OSHA 30 hour Construction Safety Certificate. This course meets General Education requirement: Writing Intensive. Prerequisites ENGL 250 or ENGL 211; & MATH 126 w/grade of C- or better & CONM 222
