Action Research

Provides an avenue for self-inquiry and pedagogical reflection for classroom teachers through the use of action-based research (also known as Advocacy or Teacher Research). Focuses on the historical background, purpose, instruction and guidance needed for teachers to do an action research in their classroom settings. Designed primarily for preservice and inservice teachers, this course provides a forum from which indepth examination of classroom practice and "Best Practices" can be explored.
