This course will introduce the student to the student with moderate to severe mental impairments. Topics will include assessment of academic strengths and weaknesses, the curriculum needs of the student, modifications and adaptations, transition issues, and pre-vocation and vocational concerns. The student will develop a portfolio of ideas to be used with moderate to severely impaired student. Prerequisites Graduate status
