Database Design & Implementation (ISYS 200)

Introduces database concepts, design methodologies, and implementation procedures. Stresses the importance of sound database design to insure data integrity and flexibility. Common data structures, normalization techniques, integrity constraints, security features, query and report facilities are discussed. One or more popular commercial database management systems will be used to implement the designs. Prerequisites ISYS 105 or Demonstrated Competency in ISYS 105
