Nursing Research (NURS 422)

Introduces the professional nursing student to the role of the baccalaureate prepared nurse as a consumer of nursing research. Students will learn about the research process and will have the opportunity to critique published nursing research literature. The utilization of research as part of an evidence-based nursing practice will also be addressed. Prerequisites EHSM 315 and MI RN lic & 1000 hrs of clin prac as an RN; Corequisites: NURS 310, NURS 312 and NURS 324
