Ecological and functional organization of urban life in cities around the world. Demographic, economic, and sociological aspects of world urban development including both historical and current issues related to urban planning and redevelopment. This course meets General Education requirements: Social Awareness, Global Consciousness; Race/Ethnicity/and or Gender Issues.
