Specific theories of social change prominent in sociological research and publications. Emphasis is on an understanding of the dynamics and patterns of change in the modern world. This course meets General Education requirements: Social awareness, Global Consciousness; Race/Ethnicity/and or Gender Issues.

SOCY 121 or SOCY 122 or ANTH 122 & 1 other social awareness course
