Concepts of mechanical dynamics involving objects in motion. Vector calculus methods will be utilized extensively. Newton's laws of force and motion are applied to particle systems and rigid body situations in various frames of reference. Linear and angular momentum and energy concepts are applied to a variety of dynamic situations. This course meets General Education requirements: Scientific Understanding.
