Why Chose the Creative Writing Minor?
A minor in Creative Writing would enhance any professional program. In addition to developing the writing of a student, as well as creative thinking, research, and literacy skills, a minor in creative writing would provide individuals with a foundation to pursue poetry or fiction as an avocation, as well as potential for self-employment or professional development. No profession is without writers, and many of todays best selling authors are primarily employed in other occupations, including business, medicine, criminal justice, public administration, and education.
