Networks 3 (ECNS 215)
This semester addresses network topics such as: Novell addressing, encapsulation, portocols; IPX access lists and SAP filters to control basic Novell traffic, IPX operation in routers; LAN segmentation using bridges, routers, and switches; Ethernet operation and traffic control, fast Ethernet, Spanning Tree protocol, and virtual LANS. Networks 3 is the third of four courses designed to provide networking fundamentals while preparing a student for CCNA certification. Pre-Requisites: ECNS 125 minimum grade of C-.
