An introduction to ophthalmic dispensing. Principles of lens selection as to style and material, including sun protection, will be discussed. Frame selection and fitting to best serve the patient's occupational, a vocational and cosmetic needs. Interaction with frame industry representatives to better serve a practice. Relationship to a commercial laboratory. Eye safety and protection in the workplace. Prerequisites: OPTM 628. Typically Offered Spring Only
