This course covers data structures and object-oriented design in some depth. Topics covered include data structure, a formal treatment of recursion, an introduction to basic problem solving strategies, an introduction to complexity analysis and theory of computability. Sorting and searching algorithms are presented in the light of the presentation of problem-solving strategies and complexity issues. Finally, objected-oriented design methodologies are studied. Pre-Requisites: CPSC 200 with a grade of C- or better. Typically Offered Spring Only
