Practical Criticism (LITR 250)

This course will introduce students to the three major genres as well as major critical approaches. The course will focus on close reading and textual interpretation. The course will also provide practice in discussing planning and writing responses to literature and will provide a strong background for future composition and literary work within the major. Pre-Requisites:ENGL 150 and ENGL 250 or Instructor approval. Typically Offered Fall, Spring
