Wood-Steel Framing and Finish (BCTM 213)

Framing and finish materials used in wood and light steel construction. Basic layout and fabrication of wood and steel beams, joists, studs, rafters and stairs. Building codes for wood and light steel components. Typical sections will be erected rather than constructing the total structure. Pre-Requisites: CONM 111, CONM 112, CONM 116 and MATH 120 or MATH 126 with grade of C- or better. Typically Offered Spring and Fall.
