Advanced Human Physiology (BIOL 206)
This course builds upon past coursework to explore Physiology at a more advanced level. The molecular and cellular interactions involved in Physiological systems will be emphasized. Topics include cell membrane physiology, nervous system function, skeletal muscle physiology, endocrine system physiology, digestive physiology, respiratory physiology, Cardiac physiology, fluid and electrolyte balance, and immune system physiology. Credit toward BS in Biology degrees cannot be earned in both BIOL 205/206 and BIOL 321/322. Prerequisites: Grade of C- in the following courses: BIOL 122, BIOL 205, CHEM 114 or 122. Typically Offered Spring and Summer.
