Forensic DNA Analysis (BIOL 407)
In depth analysis of forensic biology, molecular biology, statistics, forensic DNA typing and the advantages and limitations of DNA analysis. The laboratory will cover the concepts and techniques of DNA tests currently used in forensic laboratories to solve questions of paternity, maternity, identity of humans, and animal and plant remains resulting from disasters and/or criminal activities. Pre-Requisites: BIOL 207 with a grade of C- or better and BIOL 375 with a grade of C- or better. Typically Offered Spring Only
