Instrumental Analysis (CHEM 317)
The theory and instrumentation of modern analytical techniques will be explored, including potentiometry, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, atomic absorption (AA) spectroscopy, and gas chromatography. Concurrent laboratory work includes projects involving these techniques. This course meets General Education requirements: Scientific Understanding, Lab. Pre-Requisites:CHEM 231 with a grade of D- or better. Co-Requisites:CHEM 322. Typically Offered Spring Only
