Advanced Immunohematology (CLLS 458)
Application of theory to problems in blood banking, including ABO and RH typing anomalies, HLA testing, antibody identification, positive direct antiglobulin tests. Maintaining optimal inventories of blood products and the use of emerging technologies is also discussed. Pre-Requisites:CLLS 258 and CLLS 259 with a grade of C or better. Co-Requisites: CLLS 459.
