Construction Practices (CONM 111)
Materials, methods and equipment used on heavy and commercial construction projects. Site layout, earthwork, foundations and structural components of a project. Quantity takeoff, materials ordering and basic construction codes are introduced. Laboratory projects emphasize erection details and problems. Prerequisites: CONM 116 and MATH 115 or MATH 116 or MATH 120 or MATH 126 with a grade of C- or better. Typically Offered Spring and Fall.
