Introduction to Dentistry

This course will introduce students to the specialty areas in dentistry. The following specialty areas will be covered in this course: endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, periodontics, pediatric, and restorative dentistry. Students will learn evidence based decision making, nutrition counseling, patient education and mechanical plaque removal.
