Pain Management (DHYG 219)
Concepts in the administration of local anesthesia, and other methods of painmanagement, including Nitrous Oxide will be addressed. Further content willinclude; anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, client assessment, indications andcontraindications, selection and administration of anesthetic agents,complications, emergency management, legal and ethical considerations.Clinical application required. Prerequisites: DHYG 121, DHYG 125, and DHYG 218.Typically offered Fall only.
