Dental Hygiene Research Method (DHYG 310)

This course will be an overview of research methodologies and scientific inquiry. Students, as consumers of research, will analyze and evaluate evidence based research as it relates to the dental hygiene profession. Students will access information electronically, critique published literature and determine how to integrate research findings into the profession of dental hygiene. Students will become proficient in the process of performing reviews of scientific literature.Prerequisites: Admission to the DHYG BS program. Typically Offered Fall only.
