Explores current trends and issues; state and federal legislation, mandates, programs, and sources of funding; and local community factors that impact literacy programs. Focuses on how research-based literacy programs and practices are developed, implemented, and evaluated. Provides experience in developing curriculum, planning professional development, selecting appropriate materials and resources, and evaluating programs. Includes technology and school or community application components. Pre-Requisites:Graduate Status. Typically Offered Spring, Summer
