Basic Concepts in Autism

Students will gain an understanding of autism and its many facets. Course content will include definitions of the different types of disabilities that fall under the Autistic category including Asperger's Syndrome, characteristics including language development, social interactions, behavioral issues, intellectual functioning, etc., causes, and prevalence.
