Students explore the concepts of information security from both historical and emerging perspectives. Topics include the capabilities and threats of technology to information security, computer crime, homeland security, as well as legal, ethical and professional issues. The history, nature, and extent of computer crime and the roles and responsibilities of the legal system will
also be investigated.
