Children's Literature (LITR 326)
A survey of literature for children from infancy through elementary school age: picture books, nursery rhymes, folk literature, poetry, fantasy, realism, biography and informational books. Assess the literary quality of children's literature, methods of acquainting children with the literature, as well as the social, psychological, and philosophical issues raised by literature. This course meets General Education requirements: Cultural Enrichment and Writing Intensive Requiremnet. Pre-Requisites:ENGL 250 or 211. Typically Offered Fall, Spring
