| A terminal course in mathematics satisfying the General Education quantitative skills requirement. Exposes students to a wide variety of mathematical concepts and their applications. Topics include algebraic applications, geometry, statistics, probability and mathematics of finance. Note: MATH 117 cannot be used as a prerequisite for courses requiring MATH 115 as a prerequisite. Should a student change his or her academic program to one that requires MATH 115 as a prerequisite for subsequent courses the student will be required to complete MATH 115. |
Requires:
MATH 110 with a grade of C- or better, or 19 ACT or 460 SAT
