Math for Elementary Teachers 2 (MATH 219)

The second in a two course sequence designed to develop pre-service elementary teachers' conceptual understanding of mathematics. Topics include elementary probability and statistics, geometric concepts, and measurement concepts. Emphasis is placed on learning through problem solving. Open only to prospective elementary teachers. Prerequisites: MATH 118 or MATH 218 with a grade of C- or better or placement. Typically Offered Fall, Spring and Summer.
