Calculations for Tooling Applications

This course is an applied calculations course dealing with manufacturing tooling technology. Focus is placed on developing an understanding of how to utilize the Machinery's Handbook and apply related calculations to solve problems associated with tooling applications. This course covers US/metric conversions, algebraic formula rearrangement, application of trigonometric functions, classes of fit, solution of chordal elements, solution of geometric elements, and applications of ratios and proportions.
