Theory of Processing Fixture Assemblies

In this course focus is placed on developing an in-depth understanding of the science and methodology used in processing fixture assemblies. This course covers advanced measurement and inspection, advanced machining operations, and in-depth study of jigs and fixtures (i.e.: applications, design, construction, and assembly), specialized workholding systems, and cost estimating.

Requires:

MFGT 110, MFGT 113 and Parametric Modeling Elective.
