Intro to Performance Metric Systems

The concepts of performance metric-based management systems are developed, including the concepts of leading and lagging performance metrics, and the interrelationships between the four major systems in every organization: financial, organizational learning, process, and customer systems. The interrelationship between the Balanced Scorecard and Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria as performance metric systems will be explored. The course will include an integrating project.
