Medical Office Asst Internship (MRIS 192)

The student will be assigned to a physician office or other medical office setting for a three week internship where they will gain real-world experience in applying procedures previously taught in the classroom. Students will gain experience answering the telephone, performing check-in and check-out procedures, scheduling patients, verifying insurance information, and answering patient questions.
