Music Technology (MUSI 458)
An introduction to the evolving technologies of the music profession, including a discussion of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface); computer hardware, software and synthesizers; sequencing; CD-ROM; basics of soundboard mixing; patches and connectors in the recording studio; sound reproduction systems and acoustic technology.
