An overview of contemporary nursing education within a higher education framework. The student will examine the current legal and ethical frameworks of nursing education as well as curriculum design with regard to accreditation standards and processes. The unique aspects of didactic laboratory and clinical instruction will be examined as a basis for the nursing education practitioner.
