Clinical assessment and decision making regarding the patient's visual performance in activities of daily living and within occupational and recreational environments. Students will learn to apply their knowledge of the patient's visual abilities within the context of the visual demands of the task and the environment. Topics will include: lighting principles, ergonomics and industrial hygiene, occupational and environmental regulation, and protective and preventative principles of ocular injury.
