Medical Biochemistry (PHAR 311)
Considers the physicohemical properties of biological molecules, describes bioenergetics, and details enzyme structure, function, kinetics, and regulation. Metabolic pathways involving the various categories of biomolecules (carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins) are covered in depth with emphasis placed upon the interrelationships particularly as they pertain to the human system.Prerequisites: Restricted to the College of Pharmacy. Typically Offered Fall only.
