Ancient Through Medieval (PHIL 203)

The course provides the historical issues and figures of the western philosophic tradition from Ancient Greece through Medieval philosophy. Included will be such figures as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. The medieval period will concentrate on Christian theology through the study of such philosophers as Augustine and Aquinas. This course meets General Education requirements: Cultural Enrichment. Prerequisites: ENGL 150. Typically Offered Fall Only, Odd Years.
