This course is designed to provide the student with skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care based on the principles that are taught in the concurrent semester. Emphasis is placed on patient care and patient assessment skills. Small group problem-solving is utilized extensively, as well as an emphasis on communication skills. Students also have periodic encounters with acutely ill patients. Students learn to assess drug therapy problems and develop pharmaceutical care plans. Co-Requisites:PHPR 521, PHPR 522 AND PHAD 502. Typically Offered Fall Only
