Psychology, its tools and techniques, psychological factors influencing behavior, and some applications of psychological principles to understanding behavior patterns and societal problems. Topics typically include psychological methods, development, learning and memory, motivation and social factors. Other topics will be drawn from biological factors, mental processes, individual differences and mental health. This course meets General Education requirements: Social Awareness, Social Foundations and Race/ Ethnicity/Gender Issues.
