Statistics for PSYC Sciences (PSYC 210)
Introduces the use of descriptive and inferential statistics in psychological science. Covers measures of central tendency, variability, probability, confidence intervals, statistical significance and statistical power, as well as Chi-square, correlation coefficients, T-Tests, and Analysis of Variance. Includes the calculation of these statistics using computer software, and their proper interpretation. A sequence of STQM 260 and STQM 322 can be substituted for this course to fulfill the Psychology Major statistics requirement. Pre-Requisites:MATH 115 or 117 with grade of C or 24 on ACT or 560 on SAT; & PSYC 150. Typically Offered Fall Only
