Prepress Project (PTEC 298)

Capstone course will utilize knowledge and skills learned from the Printing and Digital Imaging Technology curriculum which relate to development and prepress operations. The student will develop an 8 page full color book from concept to press-ready plates. This will require the student to research and develop a topic for the content of the book. Student will use electronic pagination, digital photography, color correction, digital imposition and trapping to produce computer-to-plate output. Typically Offered Spring only.
