This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic principles of radiation physics as well as the nature, sources, and physical properties of ionizing radiation. It also introduces the student to the structure and function of the x-ray tube and other radiographic equipment used to create and control x-radiation. Pre-Requisites:Radiography students only.
