Cardiopulmonary Anatomy & Phys

Interrelationship of cardiac and pulmonary systems. Structure of respiratory system, cardiovascular system, fetal lung development, regulation of respiration, mechanics of ventilation. Detailed study of physiology of fluid and electrolyte balance with emphasis on renal and pulmonary adjustments in acid-base balance; fundamentals of blood gas analysis.

Requires:

BIOL 205 and Respiratory Care students only
