Respiratory Procedures Lab (RESP 146)
This course provides the student with the opportunity to apply theory to the practice of basic respiratory therapy procedures as outlined in the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) entry level examination content outline and introduced in RESP 145. Students will practice and then demonstrate entry level respiratory care procedures, using state-of-the-art equipment, in the clinical laboratory under simulated patient situations. Prerequisites: Admission to the Respiratory Care Program. Typically Offered Fall only.
