Adult Critical Care Laboratory (RESP 221)

This course will provide the student with the opportunity for psychomotor application of theoretical knowledge regarding the critical care of the adult patient. Students will practice operation of the mechanical ventilator and other selected equipment to include a wide range of mechanical ventilation devices as well as interventions used in the respiratory care of the critically ill adult patient. Prerequisites: RESP 162, RESP 171, RESP 172, RESP 184 and RESP 193. Typically Offered Spring Only
