Care Neonatal-Pediatric Patien (RESP 230)
The course is designed to introduce the student to the principles of respiratory care for the neonatal or pediatric patient with cardiopulmonary disease or abnormalities. Topics will include the pathophysiology and diagnosis of common neonatal and pediatric cardiopulmonary abnormalities and diseases as well as the respiratory care treatments associated with these conditions. Prerequisites: RESP 220, RESP 221 and RESP 292. Typically Offered Fall only.
